July Insect Update

This week we had the chance to poll FBN members on the presence of Spider Mites and Soybean Aphids in this year’s crops. Complete results are available in the maps below. With over 1,200 responses it would appear Spider Mites are starting to become more prevalent across the western plains and California while instances elsewhere and of Soybean Aphid remain scattered.

Let us know in the comments what insect or disease pressure you’re seeing and share photos if you have them. As always, if you have questions about pest pressures in your crops feel free to contact your local FBN representative or reach out to local extension.
