I just submitted my survey for our family farm in Missouri. The results of this survey give us great insight into the USDA March 31st Prospective Plantings report and allows us to get positioned in the market prior to report day on March 31st. An interesting note: more money is traded in the grain markets that day alone than what is bet on the Super Bowl each year. I am expecting to see more farms switching to corn this year with the current price of soybeans and the corn/soybean ratio. I am looking forward to this report to help confirm or change my option as FBN's track record has been great with this report.
