Our “Why I Chose FBN” series features stories from employees across different roles, teams, and geographies on how they got to FBN, what it’s like to work here, and how their teams help fulfill our mission of putting Farmers First®.
I joined FBN in early 2020 as an account executive and territory manager, and I am now the regional director for the East Canada territories.
The Canadian sales team is the engine that drives FBN’s revenue strategy through the FBN Direct store and mobile app. We have close relationships with industry partners and farmer customers.
We work with farmers every day to help them plan for a successful year. We mainly focus on their crop protection planning in Canada but we are also involved in other aspects of their business through our consultations and communications.
We put the farmers’ profitability first as an overall objective when driving our business.
FBN has a culture where a high level of performance is rewarded well. The teams are tight knit, and we have close relationships with each other, making it a fun place to work and celebrate success.
Consider FBN as a workplace where you have the freedom to succeed on many levels and experience growth in your business while following a general mission to help farms be more profitable and productive. The goal is to drive all of this through our technology and customer relationships. It’s extremely rewarding.
I enjoy spending time at the lake on the weekends, and I do a lot of outdoor activities, including golf, fishing, and water sports. I like to attend live sporting events and concerts. My activities usually involve my family and friends and my dog, Millie.
Are you passionate about helping farmers? FBN is looking for talented individuals who want to help family farmers succeed. We hire a wide range of positions including marketing, sales, warehousing, procurement, and more.
