We feel equal parts excitement and sadness bringing Farmer2Farmer V to close on this third and final day. For those of you who were able to make the trip to Omaha, thank you for making this our biggest and best Farmer2Farmer yet. Here’s a quick rundown of some of our favorite moments from the day:
Jay Hill brought his one-of-a-kind energy and swagger to the stage as he implored the crowd to share personal stories from the farm to help other folks better understand the ag experience. The grower based out of Texas and Southern New Mexico talked about how being good stewards of our land adds to our credibility as we provide context for one of the most essential industries in the world…all while decked out in a snappy plaid jacket and the signature Jay Hill cap!
FBN Head of Seed Ron Wulfkuhle took to the main stage to share from his own personal experience and provide context for why the F2F Genetics Network™ is so unique in the ag industry. As he discussed ROI and performance in 2019, Ron described how a seed company developed by farmers is sparking a seed-buying revolution. He also caught everyone up to speed on some of the hot new additions to the slate for 2020—including our release of the first-ever generic Bt corn trait.
Farmers from four Canadian provinces and close to 20 states across the U.S. stopped by our network map to share WHY they love being a member of FBN. From the basics of better prices and price transparency to leveraging data analytics to putting power back into your hands, we heard story after story about how we’re putting Farmers First® and changing the ag industry in the process.
We feel deep, sincere gratitude to be able to work alongside you to make farming better for farmers day in, day out.
Farmer2Farmer V was an opportunity for you to connect with other farmers and recharge as we head into the next growing season. But it was also a chance for you to learn how you get even more out of your membership in the FBN network.
In sessions today, all aspects of the FBN network were on display as leading voices from FBN Direct℠ to FBN Finance and F2F Genetic NetworkTM gave farmers an in-depth look into service offerings and upcoming opportunities in 2020.

Archived segments from that marathon coverage are now available on our YouTube channel, giving you the opportunity to relive all of the biggest and best moments from Farmer2Farmer.
