Notice to Recruiters & Staffing Agencies
Farmer's Business Network, Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries ("FBN") have an internal recruiting department. From time-to-time FBN may supplement that internal capability by engaging the assistance of temporary staffing agencies, placement services, and professional recruiters of its own choice (“Agency”). Based on the foregoing, temporary staffing agencies, placement services, and professional recruiters not specifically engaged by FBN (“Non-Contracted Agency”) are hereby expressly directed NOT to contact FBN employees directly in an attempt to present candidates – FBN's recruiting team or other authorized FBN personnel must present ALL candidates to hiring managers.
To protect the interests of all parties, FBN will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate. Any unsolicited resumes sent to FBN, including unsolicited resumes sent to any FBN mailing address, fax machine or email address, directly to FBN employees, or to FBN's career site will be considered FBN property. FBN will NOT pay a fee for any placement resulting from the receipt of an unsolicited resume. FBN will consider any candidate for whom any Non-Contracted Agency has submitted an unsolicited resume to have been referred by the Non-Contracted Agency free of any charges or fees.
Any Agency must obtain advance written approval from FBN's recruiting function to submit resumes, and then only in conjunction with a valid fully-executed contract for service and in response to a specific job opening or openings for which the Agency is asked to make submissions. FBN will not pay a fee to any Non-Contracted Agency that does not have such agreement in place.
Agency agreements will only be valid if in writing and signed by an officer of FBN or his or her designee. No other FBN employee is authorized to bind FBN to any agreement regarding the placement of candidates by an Agency. FBN hereby specifically rejects, and denies any liability under, any agreement purporting to be accepted based on negative consent, negotiation with a candidate, performance, or any means other than the signature of an authorized FBN officer.
