We take data privacy and security extremely seriously, and we maintain beyond industry-best practice security technologies and protocols. You always remain in control of your data, including what data you share, and with whom. You are never forced to share your data – it’s always your choice.
Your Data Is Never for Sale
FBN has never — and will never — sell member data. Our business does not rely on advertising or the need to sell member data. We also do not package our members’ data and sell it to third-party data brokers.
You Own Your Data
FBN is a contributory network; as more members contribute data, our features and services create more powerful insights for each member’s farm. But all data provided to FBN always remains the data of the farmer contributing it.

The 2024 U.S. Ag Chemical Price Transparency Report reveals exclusive insights into national and regional chem price trends for 15+ popular chem products. Based on aggregated and anonymized invoices submitted by farmers from across the country, this year's report examined 2,400+ unique pricing data points across 33 states and 120+ insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and adjuvants.
Norm, The AI Ag Advisor
Norm is FBN’s artificial intelligence (AI) Ag Advisor. Built off of ChatGPT’s language model, Norm has been trained on high quality agronomy content like FBN’s agronomic blog posts and proprietary analytics, ag input product labels, FBN Seed Finder, USDA, and other public sources of information to offer a wealth of knowledge to FBN members.
Satellite Imagery
Every 5-7 days you’ll receive three layers of imagery, each giving you a unique perspective of individual fields on your operation. Our automated image comparison will trigger notifications to inform you of changes that indicate problem areas, enabling you to direct your scouting to very specific field areas. You can access images going back 12 months.
Yield Potential & Forecasting
The Yield Potential software model utilizes planting and harvest data - along with FBN’s own data on soil, weather, satellite imagery, invoices, and performance - to analyze how products could perform in your fields. You get weekly in-season updates on your field-level yield probabilities, giving you a leg up on potential grain marketing opportunities.
Weather Data
FBN Weather Tools consist of two main features: Soil Temperature & Weather Maps and Weather Tracking Charts. These features allow you to see vital weather information updated as often as hourly, as well as compare trends on 13 different weather variables including temperature, precipitation, wind speeds, soil temps, Growing Degree Units (GDUs), Evapotranspiration (ET), and soil moisture.

AcreVision℠ was built to empower you with a transparent look at key land information when deciding if a parcel of farmland would be a good fit for your operation. Seed Finder
A feature in the FBN App, Seed Finder gives you access to one of the largest seed price and performance databases in agriculture enabling members to optimize seed selection. FBN Members contribute seed labels, invoices and harvest data which is then anonymized and shared back to members allowing them to see real-world seed performance, seed pricing, and shared seed varieties between brands.
